A world of my own, that’s all I wanted. No – a time of my own. After a long, hard day, I just wanted to escape the present and be blissfully alone somewhere, sometime else. I plugged the earbuds in to drown out the modern world, threw the hood up over my head, pulled the drawstrings tight, shoved my hands deep into my pockets, and walked off, leaving the clock far behind me.
